Burger & Bubbles Enjoys Successful Launch. Burger and Bubbles, Beckenham’s newest restaurant recently opened and is reporting a huge success.

The launch night epitomised Burger & Bubbles’ slogan of Good Food – Great Vibe, as all who attended experienced a night that they won’t forget in a while. Inspired by the Shoreditch scene, the low lighting and quirky rustic décor provided the perfect ambience which was enhanced by the atmospheric live music that included a keyboardist, DJ and saxophone player.

Visitors enjoyed the wide range of cocktails on offer and of course had the pleasure of sampling Head Chef Craig Worth’s exceptional menu for the very first time.

“I want our customers to leave Burger & Bubbles and say WOW!” says Craig. “With burgers, you can be really creative and I’ve tried to be different in putting this menu together. I wanted a unique selection that our visitors wouldn’t be able to find if they went anywhere else.”

Craig spent over 12 months forming the menu for Burger & Bubbles and if the reaction from the diners who attended the launch night is anything to go by, then it appears he has created an original masterpiece.

Take for example the Wagyu Burger which is a high quality Japanese breed of beef accompanied by a goats’ cheese mouse, miso ketchup, crispy fried egg noodles and a black brioche bun. Alternatively, as winter fast approaches, then the Hawaiian Burger’s idyllic combination of pork and pineapple salsa will be sure to offer a taste of the exotic. Then of course there is the mighty Signature Burger which, between its red brioche bun, is bursting with two beef patties, smoked Applewood cheddar, maple streaky bacon, onion rings, iceberg lettuce, beef tomato, sliced red onion, gherkin and jalapeno chutney.

If by chance you have any room left for dessert then the variety of sweet waffles, pancakes and ice cream will go down a treat, or for those who have a particularly sweet tooth, then a ‘Freak Shake’ will certainly tick all the boxes. Choose from Cookies ‘N’ Cream – an array of Oreo’s, vanilla ice-cream, fluffy whipped cream, caramel drizzle and topped with Maltesers; Think Pink – vanilla ice cream, strawberry sauce, fluffy whipped cream, an iced doughnut, candy floss, marshmallows and sprinkled with hundreds and thousands, or a Chocolate Dream – vanilla ice cream, chocolate spread, Bourbon’s, chocolate brownie, chocolate pieces, Belgian chocolate sauce and a signature flake.

The restaurant is open from Midday until 11pm Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, and Midday to Midnight on Friday and Saturday. All early-birds will be able to choose from a delightful brunch menu. Why not indulge in the Breakfast Burger which is packed with a sausage pattie, streaky bacon, hash brown, tomato, Portobello mushroom and a sunny-side-up fried egg? For a lighter alternative the Beckenham Bagel might well be up your street which includes smoked salmon, avocado and scrambled eggs.

Since the launch night, Burger & Bubbles has enjoyed a steady flow of customers for the lunch sitting and has been fully-booked most evenings – even a few celebrities have come from far and wide to soak up the Burger & Bubbles experience.
